In some women, blood tests are also conducted. Elevated values in blood tests, such as CA-125, may indicate a tumour. In such cases, although rare, patients may be referred for an MRI. However, if these cysts do not resolve or show signs of growth, they may need to be surgically removed or treated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the size of these cysts is less than 5-6 cm, they usually disappear on their own within a few weeks. Birth control pills prescribed by a doctor can also help these cysts disappear. Despite this treatment, if the cysts do not disappear, they are removed through medical and surgical interventions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You should always pay attention to monitoring your cysts. Although most cysts are harmless, it is advisable to have them examined by your doctor every six months.
